We value your privacy. This policy explains how information is handled when you use Instant Transfer.

1. Information we process

1. Device identifiers and display names used to list devices on the LAN.
2. Local network information (e.g. LAN IP and service port) for discovery and transfer.
3. Files and content you choose to send or receive, transferred only between participating devices.
4. Transfer history stored on your device; not uploaded to our servers by default.
5. Contacts, only when you choose to send or import them.

2. How we use information

Solely to provide discovery, transfer, history, and live text features. Not for advertising profiles or cross-app tracking.

3. Storage and transmission

1. Transfers are peer-to-peer on your local network by default; we do not operate a relay that stores your files.
2. History and received files stay on your device (desktop save folder is configurable).
3. System features such as camera or Photos are used only as needed for the features you invoke.

4. Permissions

Depending on the platform, the app may request Local Network, Camera (QR), Photos/Files, and Contacts. You can revoke permissions in system settings.

5. Third parties

The app may use system or open-source components for discovery, media playback, or saving to Photos.

6. Children

If you are a minor, please use the app with a parent or guardian’s guidance.

7. Updates

We may update this policy and post the new version on this page or in the app.
